Ubadah — Humanitarian Missions from Norway to Gaza
Already many moans that knocked conscience, how many screams of children suffering from the blockade of Gaza and the ongoing effects of war. But all of that, not touch the conscience of others, except for a small portion of people in the world.
One of them is Ubadah (31 years). He was willing to leave the job, the kids and his wife in Norway due to the call of humanity. He answered a call from a toddler in Gaza who demanded freedom of access to treatment, Zionist blockade still not finished.
"The first time I read the pleas for help from a boy in Gaza, my heart is very sad, " said Ubadah. He read about the condition of the boy from the information network who request protection for Palestinian children in Rafah.
They suffer from pain due to lack of food, while the drugs are not available. The Palestinian boy was forced to curl up in the European hospital in Gaza, his life would not be beyond help, if not given immediate treatment.
After read 'pleas for help, he immediately went to the drugstore and then wrap it to be sent to Gaza. but the delivery service company said it could not send medicines to Gaza, except with a referral from a specialist doctor there. However Ubadah not retreat. He spoke with some friends in Germany, Egypt and others and they suggested that Ubadah send these drugs to Cairo. From there might be sent to one of the contacts to continue to Gaza, via several relatives.
Ubadah depart from his house at around 12 am to the capital Oslo and arriving 6:30 am. Then get on a plane from Oslo to Frankfurt Germany, then another plane to Cairo. From there he went through the journey overland to Gaza. Ubadah decided to give this drug alone to the family of the dying boy that was sick.
The right time
Then Ubadah continued his story. A few hours he traveled overland from Cairo to the crossings Arish, finally he could enter Gaza. As if he did not believe in the reality of a very historic moment for himself. I used to dream of kissing the soil of Gaza — Ubadah
When he met with the families of the sick boy, thank god for Ubadah arrive at the right time, when the boy was really needed. He always contact the family Palestinian children through mobile phones, the number he found on the sheet's call for help. He get to the European hospital, south of Gaza. Ubadah meet the child's mother and when she knew Ubadah was coming he cried uncontrollably. That was kind unbelieve, a cure for her son arrive within three days, now existing in Gaza.
After he fulfilled his humanity, he was then preparing to leave Gaza. Previously, Ubadah hurried to the United Nation headquarters in Gaza and a number of international human rights organizations to urge them to immediately open Gaza blockade. Besides urged Zionists to open all the crossings and allow the entry of a number of drugs to prevent a humanitarian disaster of the Palestinians. Also, Israel must allow Palestinian patients out to medical treatment.
